If you go over the last 5 years to get a a better, more stable metric, here's the PAC/XII ranks

By Regular Season Viewership Score (basically an idealized estimate of average viewership if all games were rated, recognizing that it's the lesser games most often relegated to ESPN+ or PAC12 Network)

  1. Texas 2.90M
  2. Oklahoma 2.89M
  3. Oregon 2.57M
  4. USC 2.01M
  5. Washington 1.66M
  6. Colorado 1.608M (huge boost from this last season)
  7. TCU 1.52M
  8. Oklahoma St 1.48M
  9. Utah 1.321M
  10. UCLA 1.317M
  11. Iowa St 1.14M
  12. West Virginia 1.11M
  13. Baylor 1.091M
  14. Washington St 1.089M
  15. Kansas St 1.002M
  16. BYU 1.000M
  17. Stanford 0.984M
  18. Oregon St 0.924M
  19. Cincinnati 0.902M
  20. Arizona St 0.8914M
  21. Texas Tech 0.8910M
  22. Kansas 0.752M
  23. UCF 0.714M
  24. Arizona 0.690M
  25. Cal 0.687M
  26. Houston 0.583M

Realizing that the Big 12 needs every possible draw it can get and the value of the Holy War rivalry game, Utah was always a given. I could argue that Arizona and/or Arizona St should have been excluded in favor of Oregon St and/or Wazzu, but Arizona's basketball and the size of the Phoenix market make the Arizona schools the right choice
