If it looks a certain way in real time and there isn't irrefutable evidence
either way, it's hard to get mad at the refs.
Now, the Boise game last year when there was some pretty clear evidence on several calls that should have been overturned (both for and against BYU), that had me questioning whether or not there was even a guy in the booth. Every clearly bad call stood that night.
The other type that gets me going are the ones like Zach Wilson clearly crossing the goal line vs Hawai'i. To heck with the crap that there wasn't an irrefutable angle to overturn the terrible call, it should have never been such an egregiously bad call to begin with. I'm not mad at the replay guy in that instance as I can understand his stance, but at the on field refs who had one job.
