Workers instead of the entire workforce? I mean, manufacturing only makes up like 8% of the jobs in the US. It’s almost like they are cherry picking the worst performing sector (or in this case a subset of a sector) and presenting it as a representation of the whole. How do I know it’s not the whole? Because the report I linked to from the actual fed was reporting the entire economy, and it shows a 30% increase, and if you check out the individual income it’s even higher, and some of the other Inflation indexes show even higher numbers still.
No matter how many deceitful journalists tell a lie, it doesn’t make it true.
