His logic is indeed stupid. It’s this same logic that led the PAC 12 not to
expand with Big 12 teams, BYU, etc when they had the chance. It would have stabilized their conference.
Instead they are on the brink of extinction.
Then guys like Altimore are doubling down on the same academic elitism logic that got them into trouble in the first place.
