Yup, I've been on board that he overrated academics for a long time
His earlier analysis that has BYU #1 as an expansion candidate for the Big 12 (and which many here incident claimed was the Big 12 decision process) got him a lot of fans.... But I don't love his analyses

A few points here; yes, he's dumb and puts too much weight in academics...but he's an academic and that's what they do
