I'd like to weigh in on this too, from a patient's perspective
I had similar thoughts as others about the supposed benefits of chiropractors. I never felt I gained anything from going and they always wanted me to keep coming back for lots of appointments. It seemed a waste.

Several years ago, I was having back and shoulder trouble. My daughter and my wife both recommended a particular chiropractor in the town where I live. I was reluctant but I was also in pain.

It turns out he is terrific. He helped right away with the pain I was having and I go back a couple times a year just to feel better - more if I have pain. I am now a believer in chiropractic services, as long as the right kind of person is doing it. It must be hard to be in a profession that requires so much training when so many people don't believe it helps. I'm now very glad I have a regular chiropractor.
