With church funds paying salaries, I agree that LDS coaches are necessary. By the same token, the church should require maximum performance by coaches. Since the position is salaried, the position should be considered a job and not a calling. Many professionals work more than 40 hrs per week because maximum results are required. If they are unwilling to work extra time they are replaced.
