I put it on about 4:30 at 250 then discovered that it was on fire around 7:00. I took it off and patted out the fire, cooled the grill down to 250, then put it back on. The outside is scorched pretty good. It’s crunchy and the whole thing has shrunk quite a bit. The flat is currently reading 195 and the point is 180.
Can this thing be saved? Should I pull it off, cut off the burnt parts, then chunk it for burnt ends? Help me save Christmas!
