Buuuut… if you like passing and are still going to do ~15 over, it makes the time difference even more in 89’s favor.
But you could die. There’s that. 😉
The way I drive, I don’t think I’ve ever had a time when Vegas would have been faster, EXCEPT for when there’s snow on the 89.
That’s what makes the decision for me.
I’ve unadvisedly taken the 89 when there where dozens of vehicles slid off the road between Hatch and Panguitch.
