You have the choice in Kanab to turn and go to Lake Powell or to go straight and go through the pines and past the Grand Canyon and then over Lee's Ferry. That is the most scenic route.

No, going 89 is faster. It is faster on Google Maps and faster in real life.

89 route is 30 minutes to an hour faster depending on a couple of factors but it is still the fastest route.

It’s highway 20. Incidentally, it’s almost exactly 20 miles long.
