its about over inflated egos
and egos in todays game have never been more over inflated.
that is in large part do the the social media world and how stardom is so easily attainable... high school games are now on ESPN weekly. when a 16 year old kid in todays world has a national following, and then gets upset because a 50 year old man who works with hundreds of kids 10 hours a day didn't recognize him, it comes off as arrogant on the kids part, not meyers.
30 years ago, it would have been an honor to bump into a coach such as urban, whether he knew your name or not. (no matter how much you dislike urban for his time at utah)
