This isn't a fishing expedition with hidden agenda, I want serious commentary on this. Compare to other teams in our conferen. with generally decent defenses. Utah,TCU and even Air force on occasion?Maybe UNM?
Bronco has said he cares about points not yards etc. So maybe that is the only thing to look at. We are currently 50 something ranking in THAT department. Since Bronco has been Head coach and even since he has been at BYU, has HIS defenses been as consistent as TCU's, Utah's or AF, or even UNM? I know there have been a couple of good defenses,but I am talking about consistency.We have usually lead the conference in recruiitng right?

What is the issue? Not recruiting the RIGHT players? Scheme? what? This years D should be dominant by BM's history of having senior lb's and the fastest D he has had here at BYU.
Is it attrition? Have the other schools not had that problem and IS THAT the biggest issue?
