Yup, vinegar is just the final stage out of alcohol. Just balance the acidity with a but of sugar or broth

The same reason I cant cook with wine. Wife found out not *ALL* of the alcohol cooks off.

I've tried. Her mom makes her own vanilla extract and her mind was blown seeing "ACTUAL vodka" in her TBM family's home.
