ATX Intervention Needed
Yes the meta analysis is fairly flawed from what I’ve read
The majority of the studies were conducted in China and India, where people have other exposures to fluoride, like pollution from coal or drinking high volumes of tea, and water fluoridation is not as tightly monitored. The report itself notes in its conclusion that no studies of fluoride and IQ have been done in the U.S., “hindering application of these findings to the US population.”

Many of the studies used included areas with potentially much higher doses of fluoride.

More research needs to be done. Need better controlled studies. Meta analysis is the gold standard but if the studies included all stink so does the Meta analysis. Garbage in garbage out
