Where do you live? There are some great programs here in AZ starting in HS
where the flight training happens through the votech school options, and scholarships can be obtained for the actual flight time in the planes, which is the most expensive part of it. Then it can continue on with the community college programs, and then the universities.
I think flight training in the military is pretty competitive, and difficult to get into. Most pilot roles go to graduates from the Academies, and is tougher for ROTC or enlisted.

There is no cheap way to get your licenses and ratings. Even the flight academies will run around 100k but you won’t

Well yeah. Free use of a 172 would dramatically cut the cost. I’m well versed on the different avenues to get there.
