OP is clearly talking about building a roster that can compete for a championship, which isn't really any different than creating a roster that can win the Big 12. The two are so close you might as well talk about both of them. If you don't want BYU to believe BYU can actually win it all go ahead but not all of us need to do that to protect ourselves from disappointment.
