It’s unrealistic to think a team can go from perennially being a bubble team or
getting bounced in the first round to legitimately contending for a NC in 2 years.
It takes years of infrastructure and getting g the right pieces in place. We might, might want to focus on winning our conference once or twice and then maybe winning a conference tournament now and again before we set ourselves up to think that we have a real chance at making a NC run.
Our sights should shift to higher and loftier goals, but 3 years ago we were like 5th in the WCC and we have finished 5th and 3rd in the Big 12. Let’s win the conference and then see where we are.
