You could go with almost any other player for a few games including Hall, Demin, Saunders and be fine, but those two Defenders are indispensable.
My 14 year-old said after the game “I’m not saying he is our best player, but Keita is definitely the most important player we have.”
I would put Mag right up there with him.
I agree with almost every word of this portion: “*This one might be controversial to some. But I believe we have our first major BYU head coach (men's basketball and football...we have some other sports who have been A+) who is an A+ since Lavell. Kevin Young has already shown me he can recruit (In under a year he has our top 3 recruits of all-time (well 2000ish) according to 247). He has shown he can implement a system that works. It took us a few games to pick it up, but our system is great. He has shown he is a masterful tactician in games (something BYU has not had in a long time). Now I'm not ready to crown him as the greatest BYU basketball coach of all-time, he has to earn that. But Kevin Young has been an A+ hire and is an A+ coach in college basketball. I don't envy Wisconsin in trying to match wits wiht him and his staff on Saturday.”
I believe KY may go down as the greatest coach in BYU history in any sport.
Although….one will ever be as beloved as LE!
One thing I can see they have in common is they like to surround themselves with great coaches and allow those coaches to do their job.
While everyone is waiting to see whether KY can coach or not, people will be taking over college basketball……At least in this portion of the world.
