Isn't the only reason Gonzaga is underseeded the same efficiency metrics as VCU?
I know you complained in your original post about the VCU metrics, but Gonzaga also didn't perform great during the regular season. 5-5 in Q1 and 5-3 in Q2.
Lost to St Marys x 2, WV, UConn, UCLA, Kentucky, Oregon State, Santa Clara.
Best wins are the one over St Marys, Baylor, and SDSU.
I get their efficiency metrics are high, but resume-wise an 8 seed feels about right.
