I think they should go back to 1-4 seeds being division champs.
Or 1-3 seeds — Depends on whether they have 6 or 8. I didn't mind the occasional team getting a home court advantage over a team with a better record — or getting a more favorable matchup because they get a boost in their seed.
It happens in other sports. And I don't mind it there. I think it comes with an upside of making regular season matchups that would normally be ignored more interesting.
