When I was there in the late 80s early 90s, there was a big push to get us out
in 4 years. They hit us with the guilt trip of saying if we weren't done in 4 years, we were preventing someone else from having a spot at BYU. I see young couples taking a study abroad semester together and have to admit I am a little jealous. That was never even on our radar as students.
