they are ready to burn the program to the ground. Did the majority here really think that this team was going to only have 1 or two loses at this point in the season? A new coach, new system, younger team, new transfers, two very young highly recruited freshmen were going to instantly look like they belong in the tourney? Feels like many here don't really pay attention to college basketball and how it progresses every year, let alone BYU basketball.
Guys, we have not won an NCAA tournament game since 2012. 2011 if you don't count play-in games. Where is this entitlement even coming from?
Reminds me of a recent conversation with an employee who was convinced she should be getting a leadership role because she had "Put the time in." Huh? Lady you call out more than anyone in the organization, let alone your team. You arrive late, you leave early, your vocally negative about coworkers and company leadership, gossip, take no personal responsibility, and don't smile or interact with any energy. It's more like the opposite- prove to me you should even have a job here.
Come on Cougar fans, show me why and how we should have been more at this point in the season. I have been predicting it to take half the season to start jelling the way we need to in order to compete. Not following these ridiculous expectations.
It could take a couple years to hit stride with the new program so buckle up. At least while its happening our coach somehow pulled a rabbit out of the hat and we will likely put 3-4 guys in the NBA. This is a foundation year and hopefully becomes more. Steady growth will absolutely build our momentum over-time but in the mean time take a Xanax!
