to get my wife to get rid of boxes in the garage so I can have more space for my woodshop.

There are boxes that I have been hauling around for our 18 years of marriage. I have tried to get her to go through them and throw stuff away and she just can't do it.

Textbooks from college, wedding reception decorations, art projects from high school and a bunch of other random crap. We haven't opened a box and used any of the stuff in years and I can't throw it away...so storage unit looks like my only option.
