as a self storage facility owner I can't say this enough, be VERY careful.
Unnecessary storage space can be terribly mishandled.
I just had a customer call to tell me that he's arranged for a company to come and pick up all of his stuff. He's been storing with me since 2000, almost 25 years. I've seen him maybe twice.
The company that's coming? 1-800-Got Junk.
Where's it all going? To the dump.
How much has he paid me over those years? ~$90,000.
