I used to be no case until all the phones got too rounded and slippery, with big camera humps.
Now I have a case, unfortunately. If there was a phone that was easy to hold, didn't slip off the arm of the couch, and didn't have a huge camera hump, I would go caseless. I've never used a screen protector, and have never had any problems
