It seems the purists is suffering from pride.
I only fly fish but that’s because that’s the experience I’m after. Sometimes, I get jealous of other types of fishing. Catching bigger and more but that seems to be less frequent the older I get and the more I seek specific experiences.

Those Madison River trout have seen every fly imaginable. Makes sense they’d go after a rapala.
