I think these are the possible conclusions to draw about the FPI
1. If the FPI sucks, then pretty much every analytics rankings system sucks
1a. If every analytics rankings system sucks then we are all lost because we know all too well that human polls are a hot mess.
2. The FPI is better than people want to give it credit — because it doesn't align with their own personal biases and doesn't properly inflate their team of choice
