Togo tells a much more historical story. Great movie. All the dogs were heroes.
If you think of it as a relay with 20 legs of 30 miles each, Togo ran the equivalent of 7-8 legs. Balto ran the last 2 legs.
It takes a strong dog to run 2 legs. To run 7-8 legs is legendary.
