BYU fans need to accept that we lost.
ASU won the head to head and then went on to dominate in the CCG and acquit themselves very well in the CFP.
They win the “best team in 2024” argument.
However…
BOTH teams finished the season strong.
ASU (and their yewt allies) need to admit the gap between the two is small. They both finished 10-2 (7-2 in conference) and whether you choose to look at it as a 5 point loss or a loss that was within 2 yards of a win it was a close game ON THE ROAD in which BYU was in it until the end.
Unless ASU fans want to say Texas is light years ahead of ASU by virtue of their close win yesterday, they must admit the two teams are within a hair’s breadth.
(And Utah fans who say “you only beat us by 1” that’d be a fair argument if you hadn’t gone 5-7.
