I know most non-BYU fans would disagree, but I think BYU was the best team in
the Big 12 this year. I think there’s a very good chance that if BYU was in ASU’s spot in the CFP, given a month to prepare, Jay Hill dials up a strong defensive performance and BYU comes away with at least one win. They were clearly better than Colorado. I think they beat ISU 7 or 8 times out of 10. And I think they were slightly better than ASU, despite the close loss in Tempe. I guess we will never know. But it would’ve been fun to find out.

Will be interesting to see where BYU and ASU end up in the final rankings for this year. BYU is going to move way up
