playing against big 12 defenses. His stats against MWC/WAC opponents (Southern Illinois) are similar to the greats. The greats however often struggled against top teams - see Max Halls stats against Utah. When you play against good teams games are more about gutting out wins than putting up eye popping numbers.

Jake was injured during the Utah game and the rest of the season. When he can't create as well with his feet he is more limited. He also doesn't have a Zach Wilson arm. Some fans just can't get over it.

There is 0% chance there is another starter next year so the haters need to get on the train or be ready for another miserable double digit win season. Jake is not perfect but we are lucky to have him. Both he and Arod helped create our 11 win season and will be here next year. Next year looks to be as promising a year as ever and there is no chance we are changing our OC or QB. That would be beyond stupid. So haters stop hating. You can offer critique but stop hating, it is annoying and shows you know nothing about competitive football. BYU is not going back to the WAC.
