I cheer against BSU for college football playoff rankings reasons
I don't want their conference champion to be seen as just as prestigious as the Big12 conference champion. BSU getting blown out of the playoff will help that perception.
It's about getting that first round bye. We aren't competing with the SEC and B1G for that position. We ARE competing with Boise though.
