You’ll maybe be tempted to spend all your time in Tokyo
But the smaller places like Kyoto are more enjoyable. Tokyo is great, but it’s crowded and it’s all very touristy. Try to get out if it and see actual culture.

If in Tokyo,

1- Visit Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa - It's Tokyo's oldest temple. Fun traditional atmosphere that has a neat shopping street next to it - very traditional.
2- Explore Meiji Shrine - Another traditional shrine that's close in to Tokyo. Almost every shrine is fantastic/peaceful.
3- You gotta experience the famous Shibuya Crossing - one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world (1,000-1,500 people cross every few minutes. It's best to do it at night. You will feel like you are in a movie 😊 Great people-watching.
4- Studio Ghibli Museum - This museum in Mitaka is super mainstream anime/animation. If I remember correctly, you might need to get some tickets.
5- Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden - Most of the leaves are changing colors now. It will be beautiful if you can make it.
6- If you've got a minute, do a day Trip to Mount Fuji or Hakone - there's a tone of great hot springs and sites just outside of the city.
7- Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea - It's a lot different than the regular Disney!
8- Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku - This is a crazy Tokyo experience. Kitschy and unforgettable.
9- They to catch a Sumo or Baseball Game - there's a lot of passion and energy at Japanese baseball games! I love the names of the teams like Tokyo Yakult Swallows or Yomiuri Giants game.

There's some ideas for you to pick from!
