Most SUV have less cargo space than a minivan, but the large SUV by the big 3
domestic auto makers (the GM suburban, Yukon XL, Escalade esv, and the ford/lincoln expedition/navigator xL, and Jeep grand wagoneer) will have a little more cargo space , but they can also be up to 20 inches longer than the typical minivan.
But your average SUV, even with 3rd row folded down, will have less cargo space than a minivan.
