don’t understand the anti-minivan sentiment that exists on the board.

What is the rationale that a truck or SUV is better than a minivan?

Other then living somewhere with heavy snow or having to travel off road every day, and even then they make minivans with all wheel drive, why are minivans so bad?

I drive a minivan everyday to pick up kids from school along with some neighbor kids we carpool with. My wife drives a crossover suv that also has a third row, but we almost never use it because it is very cramped.

Now I have to admit I also have an older (2007) Chevy Silverado crew cab 4x4 that my dad gave me, which doesn’t get driven very often, but I only use when I go camping with the kids, have to tow something, or haul stuff around.

So I admit there are times when a large off road vehicle has a purpose, but as a daily driver the minivan is much more practical.
