Kids are between 5 and 12. Only one still believes in Santa. Good kids. Very happy and content. One was very mildly disappointed with not getting more toys, but hardly at all. They didn't get completely gypped by any means and still got some things. All is well here.

Honestly, Christmas is much more enjoyable being low key. We never went completely all out at any point, so this wasn't a drastic change, more of a smaller downsize, but still nice to have material side of Christmas be smaller and more manageable.

Told the kids we are going to sit down today and plan some fun experiences for this next year also that everyone wants to do as a family. They are excited about that.
