We downsized Christmas a long time ago. There was a year or two where I heard
other kids brag to mine about what they got and felt bad. My kids didn’t mind as much as me. And they learned not to expect big at Christmas
Now that four are grown and our youngest is 15, I think it was one of the best parenting things we ever did.
