More likely, Honda will send some senior executives to Nissan and try to fix their problems from the top, with different strategies than are currently employed. Hopefully they also send engineers and managers who can make better decisions than what Nissan is currently making.
Nissan likes to think they are cutting-edge, but they make a lot of missteps along the way that end up biting them in the butt. They have a lot of good ideas and technologies, but they roll them out before they have fixed the bugs and that ends up making them unreliable and costs the company tons of money before they fix the problems.
