He has enough status to be able to contribute to NIL but tell the collective with a wink to put it towards football so
that the collective can put other NIL contributions towards basketball.
Having stated that, I don’t think his NIL contribution himself is in the millions and/or would cover what the agreement is for AJ’s NIL agreement.
I do think his greater contribution is being an influencer of other wealthy donors BYU has or wants to have involved.
Just my semi-educated .02.
