Their options were to contract for lesser teams or let the contract stay with the former PAC 12 teams.
If you were running a bowl and had a contract that allowed you to select PAC12 teams that moved to other P4 conferences despite not being in the PAC12 would you like to cancel that contract so you can get a new one with another G5 conference?
