State in the bigger picture? I mean if you win, you go to the conference championship game against Oregon who you lost to in Eugene by 1 point. If you win, you go to the playoffs with a better seed but might still have to play Oregon again in the playoffs and its tough to beat a team 2 times in a row. You could lose to Oregon which can't be good for anything. Losing to Michigan, you still go to the playoffs but don't have to play the CCG so you essentially get a bye. The playoffs kind of makes the end of the season a little more irrelevant.
