BYU is going to lose many head to head battles with SEC and B1G teams
That's always been the case, and is accelerating in the NIL era
A better place to focus energy, IMO, would be the transfer portal. No matter how good these kids are, there can only be 22 starters. There's no reason that BYU can't be a top transfer destination after players get humbled a little bit by that reality and are willing to take less in order to develop and actually compete for playing time.

I’m in full agreement that BYU needs better QB recruiting year in and year out but this kid isn’t the answer. There are
