To play so well and PROVE you are a great team, and then to fall short in 1 game (Kansas or ASU) when you know you could have and should have played better, is hard to "just blow off".

This team could have been in the national playoff. Don't blow off how hard that is to do. That is not easily just tossed to the side.

It's extremely difficult.

On the other hand, this team almost got there, when everyone had left them for dead at the beginning of the season.

It's just so hard to let go when you were so tantalizingly close.

But that does not take away from the phenomenal season the Cougs have had.
