in postgame:
1) the guys found out about not getting to go to Arlington in the locker room and he said they just slid into a funk and started making lots of mistakes
2) you can say what you will about ARod (I definitely have) but it wasn’t ARod dropping balls, missing blocks, fumbling etc.
I think every aspect of the game could and should have been better last night, but the added context of the let down of not making the CCG is clarifying.
I really wonder how much Jake’s audibles have made ARod look bad this year. You can see him change the plays a lot up at the line—something I don’t see him do as much in 2-minute drills. You live with the good and the bad with Jake. I like the net result, but sometimes he can be pretty frustrating.
