Oh I 100% believe that; he wants to stay in Utah and that ideally means BYU and/or Utah
From what I've seen/heard, Hill's preferred jobs would generally be
- Utah HC
- BYU HC
- Utah DC
- BYU DC
- Utah St HC
- Weber St HC
- Utah St DC
- Utah position coach
- BYU position coach
- Weber St DC
- Utah St position coach
- Weber St position coach
And I say generally. In a vacuum he'd prefer DC at Utah over BYU....but probably not enough that it's worth going and changing staff and losing recruits and players and position coaches he's currently connected with.
So there's probably only 2 jobs for him worth moving to from this one.... And one is BYU and the other has a new HC who is likely to be there a long time unless Utah is terrible (which Hill wouldn't love)....
There's not a ton of better options for him if he wants to stay in state, which I think he does
