That’s entirely subjective and could be said of Arod’s recruiting if you’re being objective and fair. Arod offered and
signed Ryder Burton who had zero competing offers. Arguably the single worst QB signeee BYU has ever offered and signed.
Arod has also signed other low rated QBs and extended very comparable offers to his players on offensive side of the ball as Lamb and Tuiaki. Plenty of “diamond in the rough” type offers — the only difference is Tuiaki was held accountability while Arod is not.
