Other conferences need to adopt the 8 game conference play and the fcs team at
The end of the season. Sec basically gets an extra bye week over everyone else. Yes, they recruit the top talent and yes they are deeper than most teams but they also play the system more than any other conference. Even their early season games are barely ever require any travel.
The system should require every team to play 9 conference games, at least two non conference p4 teams, and no fcs teams. If teams want to have an exhibition game prior to the 12 game season they can optionally play an fcs team.
