Admittedly, not fair assessment of Shiede/Carter. And totally forgot Doman
Maybe I've got them in the approximate right place, if there is such a thing. I could easily be off.

With Carter, I just don't know enough about him or the era in which he played to do him justice. Re: Shiede, I will admit that I'm docking him a bit for the overwhelming nature of the BYU offense and it being unlike anything out there. He had the jump on everyone as its first true architect, and WAC defenses were not good in the first place or equipped for the passing onslaught. Shiede also had to pull it all off or perhaps Lavell's legacy stumbles out of the game and goes nowhere.

In any case, he is indisputably the OG member of the BYU QB factory, the guy who started it all, and an all-time great.

Doman--tough to assess b/c he was so darn effective in the scheme with Staley. Was it the scheme, the QB, the Doak Walker winner beside him? All 3 + the fact that other QBs had their own advantages. This could be wrong, but I'll bump Feterick and give Doman his spot at 16
