Especially in college football where players only have a finite window of opportunity to play.
If a team catches lightning in a bottle they should have the opportunity to make it all the way no matter how bad the previous year’s team was.

I don't think it'd ever happen but it'd be interesting if CFB took a regulation approach to teams playing in the P4..

Sounds great, but BYU may have been in the MWC this year based on that system.

Not enough games for that to be fair, and a lot of player turnover year by year.
