He’s not leaving BYU for the money. Because BYU will match whatever USU wants to
pay him. USU will never win a bidding war with BYU for a football coach if BYU wants them in Provo.
I could definitely see Hill taking the job to be a head coach again at one of only three FBS programs in Utah.
It also wouldn’t surprise me a bit if he is using it as leverage to get a raise from BYU and more commitment for football NIL going forward.
